We are a community-based organization focused on helping make the world around us an even happier place to live, work, serve, shop, own a business, raise a family, and retire. With the help of our volunteer board and members, we support exciting community-building events and informational monthly meetings for our membership.
The membership and attendance at the monthly meetings have increased dramatically under the leadership of our officers and board members.
We are supporting several projects.

The Lenoir City Committee of 100 for Economic and Community Development was initially organized in 1964 by 100 businesses, professionals and interested citizens. In these 50 years the “Committee of 100” has had a great influence in the construction of the Fort Loudon Industrial Park, principally responsible for the creation of the Loudon County Industrial Committee which is now known as the Loudon County Economic Development Agency
( LCEDA), and one of the forerunners to the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce. The Committee of 100 has also been influential in Loudon County having 4 interstate 75 exits instead of the 2 that were initially planned.
The honorable Harvey L. Sproul was the President of “ The Committee of 100” from 1964-2012 and led this group of business men and women with distinction in so many projects, co- operating with business, educators and city and county leaders to move our area forward.
